St. Theresa's Parish is a Roman Catholic Faith Community of approximately 45 families. We are located on Charles Street in the United Church. We are fortunate to share their church so our Sunday service times alternate. During even years we gather every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and during odd years we gather at 11:00 a.m.
Our parish is served by a Parish Life Director and two Priest Moderators. We celebrate Eucharist every second Sunday and have a Liturgy of the Word with communion on the other Sundays. We also have an active Parish Council that meets every 4th Thursday of the month.
Formal catechism classes are held for children on Mondays from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from October to May. Children aged 4-7 are encouraged to participate in Children's Liturgy on Sundays.
Our parish has started a prayer chain which prays for parishioners as well as community members who are experiencing difficult times. Our parish is strong and dynamic and enjoys participating in social justice activities, fundraising, town events, family potlucks and coffee following Sunday services.
