Asquith BPO Elks No. 526
The Asquith BPO Elks No. 526 was instituted in 1968 with fifty members. Although the membership is not as large, the service work and contribution to the community of Asquith and surrounding district remains the same. The Asquith Elks sponsor many projects around Asquith, including minor sports and charitable functions. New members are always welcome!
The Asquith Elks Hall is available for rentals, seating 120 people on its upstairs dance floor. The hall has a stage, is wheelchair accessible, and has kitchen facilities in the basement.

Asquith Order of the Royal Purple
The Asquith Order of the Royal Purple was instituted in 1970 with 32 charter members. The membership is now at 20 members. The O.O.R.P. is an auxiliary of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The floral emblem of the Royal Purple is the purple pansy
The O.O.R.P. canvases for the Canadian Cancer Society, performs service and charitable works within the community, most recently purchased and presented Lord Asquith School with a package to integrate into the curriculum aimed at stopping teasing and bullying in the school. They promote the literacy and poster contest yearly at Lord Asquith School relating to drug awareness. The Royal Purple have also applied for and received funding that went towards the aid of fire victims. A local student was also presented two scholarships by the Royal Purple for furthering her education in communication disorders and audiology and speech language pathology. The Royal Purple host a Ladies Nite every two years, hold an annual craft fair every year in November, and also present a wreath at the annual Remembrance Service every year.
